What I actually learned
This course fundamentally changed the way I think about software development. Before studying HCI, I primarily focused on making applications functional. Through this certification, I learned that a successful product is not only about features but also about how easily and comfortably users can interact with it. I gained practical knowledge of usability testing, user-centered design approaches, interface evaluation methods, and accessibility considerations. Understanding human cognition, attention, memory, and perception helped me appreciate why certain design patterns work better than others.
